For many of us, reading the scriptures each day is a resolution or goal that we set for ourselves. I don't usually carry my scriptures around with me, and even though I have all of the scripture apps on my phone and iPad, I forget to look at them! That's why I LOVE this website - ReadTheScriptures.com. You set up an account, sign up for which books of scripture you want to read, what your goal is to read each day (verse/chapter/book) or your timeframe for reading it (year, month, week) and then each day, they send you your required reading through your email! It has worked wonders for me and I can't live without it now! Check it out and see if it's something that will work for you too!

Anyone who has ever had to help ask or answer someone to a high school dance knows that for some reason, brain fog sets in at that exact moment! Every good idea you have ever heard of, ever seen done, or ever thought up disappears to the dark corners of the brain and stays there. So...with Sweethearts and Prom coming up in the next few months, here are some ideas! Please share some of your good ideas for others to use too! And...check out my Pinterest board with even MORE ideas there!
Write your name on the back,
or put the puzzle piece someplace where they
have to go to find it,
or just in an envelope!
So easy and cute!
You could cut out mustaches,
take photos of yourself with them on,
or just draw a giant one,
and then put the question!
Get a big bag of sand,
a little tiny shovel,
bury your name in the sand,
and make your date dig away!
"I dig you...would you be my date for..."
More ideas available on my Pinterest board!
and PLEASE share any ideas you have too!

A few years ago, I found a copy of this yearly scripture schedule in my grandfather's scriptures. It was folded up neatly and obviously used. I decided that I would use it in my own studies and made a copy for my scriptures and my children's. Hope it helps you too! Yearly Scripture Schedule

Scrapbooks, photos, fabrics, punches, stamps, inks, scissors, etc...they all seem to have a habit of multiplying when they are stored! Here are some good ideas for craft storage and work area organization using furniture meant for other things.
This is a shoe rack! Shoe cubbies make good storage spots.
Use a curtain rod and clips to hold fabric.
Those shelves? A bookcase turned on its side!
A dresser with the drawers removed, and then painted,
makes a great storage spot using baskets.

These are darling!
Get a picture frame and change them out once a month.
This would be fun for FHE - choose a theme, put it in the frame,
then plan your lessons around it for the month!
Love this idea!
